The Great South Run

Am always up for a challenge, especially if it is being held literally on your doorstep. Yesterday saw my second GSR, always a good day out with 24,000 other participants. Wake up early doors, get some porridge and bananas in you, run your heart out and then its food and booze time. Butternut squash & chorizo soup / beef cheeks & mash round gran’s with friends and family, followed by many pints in LJR ending up with a Spicy House crispy duck and hoisin pancakes takeaway. My legs are about to drop off and am currently walking like bambi.

Running in memory of Anthony Chester, George Thompson and Jon Paul Sutton. Gone but not forgotten.
