Cost effective dinners

Well over a year ago I knew I wanted to start a food photo blog. I also knew that I wanted to tie this blog in with the city I enjoy living in. When SFS got off the ground near about a year ago I had no idea what sort of format it would be in, what sort of posts would be featured, or if anyone would give a damn. One thing I did know was that I didn’t want to be part of those pretentious food bloggers who will only feature high end restaurants / produce which in turn would act like a platform to promote their lifestyle. I have been very lucky to have travelled around the world to many exotic places and have tried some pretty far out things, and I certainly appreciate good food in general. But I wanted SFS to be a true representation of my life as a food fan. Warts and all. So I present to you my dinner for tonight; sausage, oven chips and baked beans.

And you know what? It was bloody great.

Yes my boy, from Slough to Strong Isalnd via Chez Marianne, the circus boys tapas bar in Sant Cugat, then a tepanyaki on the 53rd floor in Tokyo, Sausage and chips seems appropriate. Made the grade, I have no problems with that. Xxxxxx

  4. I love it! Reminds me of my saturday dinner when I was younger.

I had a proper routine of watching Baywatch then Gladiators while I ate something similar to that. I’d have had potato waffles more than chips though. After Gladiators it was onto Blind Date/Noels House Party. I was never allowed to stay up and watch Match Of The Day 😦
