Well over a year ago I knew I wanted to start a food photo blog. I also knew that I wanted to tie this blog in with the city I enjoy living in. When SFS got off the ground near about a year ago I had no idea what sort of format it would be in, what sort of posts would be featured, or if anyone would give a damn. One thing I did know was that I didn’t want to be part of those pretentious food bloggers who will only feature high end restaurants / produce which in turn would act like a platform to promote their lifestyle. I have been very lucky to have travelled around the world to many exotic places and have tried some pretty far out things, and I certainly appreciate good food in general. But I wanted SFS to be a true representation of my life as a food fan. Warts and all. So I present to you my dinner for tonight; sausage, oven chips and baked beans.
And you know what? It was bloody great.
