Tonight saw the return of the much acclaimed Southsea Supper Club. First we were ushered through the door with delightfully tangy gin and elderflower sherbet cocktails, once enjoyed we tackled the business at hand;
Starter: Antipasto Misto; Proscciutto cando, coppa, salame brianza, olives and breads.
Mains: South-western pulled Brisket (slow cooked for 11 hours), served with soft tacos, sweet potato fries and green onion slaw.
Dessert: Chai latte mousse and coconut sesame honey crackers.
Simply brilliant. All in the backdrop of Fratton Park, where Pompey beat Brum 4-1. Week nights do not come much better than this. Many thanks to Lou for such a great evening.
